IOTA 232 is 1,1,5,5-tetramethyl-3,3-diphenyltrisiloxane (CAS 17875-55-7), a colorless transparent liquid with GC purity ≥98% for stable formulas. It has a specific gravity of 0.994 and stable refractive index of 1.500 at 20°C. Compatible with methyl silicone oil, liquid silicone rubber, phenyl silicone rubber and phenyl silicone resin without delamination, no extra compatibilizer needed. Boiling point: 130–131°C (2.5 mmHg), flash point over 110°C for safe production. Dual terminal reactive Si-H bonds deliver high crosslinking efficiency for addition-cure liquid silicone rubber and phenyl silicone resin. Packed in sealed 15kg & 200kg coated iron drums, store in cool ventilated warehouse. Ideal for mass production of electronic potting compounds and general high-temperature silicone rubber.
