IOTA 61102 is pure methyl silicone resin, a colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid free of mechanical impurities. It features stable 50% solid content, viscosity 14–40s (Ford Cup 4), and adjustable gel time of 5–50 min at 200°C. After curing, it delivers high hardness and full crosslinking with minimal volatiles during hot pressing, serving as the core binder for high-temperature mica sheets and glass fiber laminates.
It boasts outstanding heat resistance, electrical insulation, moisture and water resistance to maintain stable insulation under high temperatures. Perfect for mass hot-pressing production of mica products, it produces compact, non-delaminated sheets. Packed in 50kg plastic pails or 200kg iron drums, it can be stored below 35°C away from direct sunlight for 6 months and reused if qualified after overdue inspection. Classified as flammable goods, store and transport away from heat sources, ideal for manufacturing heating and electrical insulating mica materials.
