Clean the surface thoroughly
Oil, dust, and release agents will weaken bonding strength. Please clean the surface with ethanol or acetone and let it dry completely before applying adhesive.
Acidic vs. neutral silicone
Acidic silicone cures quickly but releases a slight vinegar-like odor. It is not suitable for metals, copper, or mirrors as it may cause corrosion.
Neutral silicone is odorless and non-corrosive, making it suitable for electronics, metal, glass, stone, and bathroom applications.
Temperature and humidity affect curing
The best curing conditions are around 25°C and 50–60% humidity. Curing slows down in cold weather. You can warm the adhesive at room temperature before use.
Allow full curing before stressing
Surface drying takes about 10–30 minutes. It reaches basic strength in 24 hours and full strength in 72 hours. Avoid moving, pulling, or soaking the bonded parts before fully cured.
