Silicone adhesive features a siloxane bond structure, which is much more stable than the carbon-carbon bonds found in ordinary glues. This unique structure gives silicone adhesive outstanding stability.
It can maintain elasticity continuously at temperatures ranging from -60°C to 250°C without becoming brittle at high temperatures or hard at low temperatures. That is why it is widely used in electronics, automotive parts, and outdoor lighting.
Silicone adhesive also has excellent weather resistance. UV rays, moisture, ozone, and acid-base environments have little effect on it, ensuring long service life even outdoors. After curing, it forms a flexible layer that absorbs vibration and thermal expansion stress, reducing the risk of debonding.
It is also electrically insulating, waterproof, and low in odor, making it ideal for sealing and bonding in precision electronics and home appliances.
