Avoid simple butt joints as much as possible.
Prioritize lap joints, miter joints, socket joints and hybrid connection methods.
Keep the lap length moderate (not excessively long).
For adhesive-bonded laminates, never use lap joints; instead, opt for miter joints.
Supplement with screws and rivets, and apply edge curling and corner wrapping to prevent delamination.
