What is Weatherproof Adhesive?
Weatherproof adhesive is a single-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant specifically designed for the weatherproof sealing of various curtain walls. It has excellent weather resistance performance. After undergoing artificial accelerated weather aging tests, there are no significant changes in the physical and chemical properties of the sealant. When in use, the adhesive is extruded from the sealant cartridge into the joints that need to be sealed using a caulking gun. The sealant absorbs the moisture in the air at room temperature and cures into an elastomer, forming an effective seal.
Advantages of Weatherproof Adhesive

1. It is single-component and easy to use. It has good extrudability and thixotropy within the temperature range of 4°C to +40°C and can be directly applied by extruding it with a caulking gun.
2. It is neutral-curing and has no corrosive effect on building materials such as metals, coated glass, concrete, marble, and granite, making it widely applicable.
3. Its displacement capacity reaches level 20. For the normal expansion, contraction, and shear deformation of curtain walls, this product can maintain its performance unchanged and play an effective sealing role.
4. It has excellent weathering resistance performance, being resistant to aging, ultraviolet rays, ozone, and water.
5. It has outstanding high and low temperature resistance performance. After curing, it will not become brittle, harden, or crack at a low temperature of -30°C, and will not become soft or degrade at a high temperature of +90°C, always maintaining good elasticity.
6. It has excellent adhesion. After curing, it can form a strong bond with most building materials without the need to use a primer.
7. It has good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
