        Adhesives play a crucial role in the extensive applications of the photovoltaic industry. They not only need to meet the stringent requirements of photovoltaic power stations for weather resistance, ultraviolet resistance, and high-temperature and high-humidity environments but also have to adapt to various specific application scenarios to ensure the stability and durability of photovoltaic modules. Specifically, the applications of adhesives in the photovoltaic industry can be roughly divided into the following categories:
        Firstly, the bonding and sealing between laminates and frames are key steps in the manufacturing process of photovoltaic modules. To ensure a tight fit and firm connection between laminates and frames, high-performance adhesives are required to achieve a high-strength continuous connection between them. This connection not only significantly improves the load-bearing capacity and overall rigidity of solar cell modules but also makes the stress distribution more uniform, thereby extending the service life of the modules. Meanwhile, the cured adhesive layer has excellent elastic deformation ability, which can effectively cope with the thermal deformation and external force deformation of solar cell modules during use, ensuring the stability and safety of the modules.
        Secondly, the encapsulation between battery wafers and glass, as well as backsheets, is also an important application of adhesives in the photovoltaic industry. In this process, adhesives need to provide good electrical insulation performance, as well as possess characteristics such as high light transmittance, ultraviolet stability (that is, not prone to yellowing), and a certain degree of elasticity. High light transmittance can ensure that the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar panels is not affected; ultraviolet stability can prevent adhesives from aging when exposed to sunlight for a long time, thus extending the service life of solar panels; and a certain degree of elasticity can absorb the stress generated by battery wafers under thermal deformation and external impact, preventing battery wafers from cracking.
