IOTA-255 polymethylphenylsiloxane is a colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid free of impurities, with customizable viscosity ranging 50~1000 cSt and density of 1.02~1.10. Its open flash point reaches ≥300℃ for safe high-temperature operation, while the pour point is as low as -40℃ to avoid solidification under low temperature.
It boasts outstanding thermal stability and oxidation resistance, resisting carbon deposition and volatilization under long-term 320℃ service, with excellent water and radiation resistance to withstand drastic temperature cycles.
As a high-temperature heat carrier, it is widely adopted for high-temperature oil baths, heat exchangers and electrical insulating heat transfer media. Supplied in 25kg and 200kg iron drums, classified as non-dangerous goods for easy transportation, with a 3-year shelf life in ventilated dry warehouses to cut inventory costs, serving as long-lasting thermal fluid for labs and high-temperature chemical equipment.
