IOTA R2400 is a red solvent-free two-component siloxane adhesive with viscosity of around 15,000 cps. Cured elongation reaches 5%, and its high flexibility offsets stress from thermal expansion and contraction to prevent adhesive layer cracking and peeling. It fully cures naturally at room temperature within 5–7 days without heating furnaces, suitable for on-site assembly of large workpieces.
It withstands continuous temperature up to 400℃, with tensile shear strength over 1 MPa at room temperature and above 0.2 MPa at 400℃. Weight loss is less than 10% after 10 minutes holding at 400℃ under nitrogen atmosphere, delivering outstanding high-temperature stability. It bonds and seals metals, ceramics and composites. Customizable plastic drums range from 0.5L to 10L. Both base resin and curing agent have a 1-year original shelf life; the curing agent can be stored for over 8 months after opening with sealed low-temperature storage. The base resin may thicken after long storage and can be reused after triple-roll mixing. Ammonia releases when opening, so operate in ventilated spaces.
