IOTA R2400 is a two-component, solvent-free silicone adhesive with a red paste appearance and viscosity of about 15000cps. It cures at room temperature in 5–7 days for easy application. Featuring high toughness with approximately 5% elongation, it withstands temperatures up to 400℃ for stable high-temperature bonding.It offers room-temperature tensile strength over 1MPa and tensile shear strength over 0.2MPa at 400℃. Weight loss is less than 10% after 10 minutes in N₂ atmosphere at 400℃. Suitable for bonding and sealing metals, ceramics and composite materials. Packaging is customizable from 0.5L to 10L.Both adhesive and curing agent have a 1-year shelf life. Thickening may occur after long storage, but it can be reused after thorough stirring.
