To achieve ideal bonding and sealing results, proper application is as important as product quality.
First, surface preparation is essential. Oil, dust, moisture and release agents will significantly reduce adhesion strength. Please clean the surface with alcohol and make sure it is completely dry before application.
Second, control the adhesive layer thickness. Too thick a layer will slow down curing and may lead to internal uncured issues. Too thin a layer may cause insufficient bonding or cracking.
Third, allow full curing time. Silicone adhesive cures by reacting with moisture in the air. It usually takes 24 hours to reach basic strength and 72 hours to achieve full performance. Avoid moving, soaking or applying force during the curing period.
