Structural adhesives can achieve a shear strength of up to 7 MPa for bonded joints. They not only possess sufficient shear strength but also feature high uneven peel strength. Capable of withstanding dynamic loads such as vibration, fatigue and impact over long periods, they also exhibit certain heat resistance and weather resistance.
Non-structural adhesives have a certain degree of strength at low temperatures, but their bonding strength drops sharply as temperature rises. Therefore, such adhesives are mainly used for bonding non-critical components or for temporary fixation.
