Adhesives are widely used in the electronics industry, ranging from the positioning of microcircuits to the bonding of coils in giant generators. Once adhesives fail, the consequences are extremely serious—computers will stop operating, cities will be plunged into darkness, or missiles will be difficult to launch. In addition to mechanical fixation, the application of adhesives in the electronics industry also requires thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, insulation, as well as adaptability to shock-resistant assembly, sealing, and substrate protection.
