Non-destructive bonding
Common methods for joining materials include bolt connection, riveting, welding, and bonding. While techniques like bolt connection enable quick joining, they can damage materials by drilling holes or applying local heating to components, and cannot avoid stress concentration during use.
In contrast, bonding is a non-destructive joining technique. Since the entire bonded interface bears the load, it enhances load capacity and extends service life.
