IOTA RH3400 is a silicone-modified cyanate ester adhesive with three components. It appears grayish-black, solvent-free, and has a viscosity of approximately 3500cp.


This adhesive boasts outstanding characteristics and offers flexible curing methods: it can either cure at room temperature or be cured by heating. Heating not only effectively shortens the curing time but also further enhances the adhesive's bonding strength. Meanwhile, it features high bonding strength and excellent temperature resistance, capable of withstanding high temperatures ranging from 300℃ to 400℃, making it suitable for various harsh application scenarios.


In terms of performance parameters, its room-temperature lap shear strength exceeds 8MPa; even after aging at -40℃ for 1 hour, the strength remains above 8MPa when tested at room temperature. At a high temperature of 200℃, the lap shear strength can still exceed 7MPa; and even when the temperature reaches 300℃, the lap shear strength can maintain above 1MPa, demonstrating stable and reliable mechanical properties.


During use, the adhesive has a working time of 40 minutes, with two curing process options available: if room-temperature curing is chosen, it takes 5 to 7 days to complete; if heat curing is adopted, it can be cured in 3 hours at 130℃. Users can flexibly select the method based on actual application needs and schedule arrangements.


It has a wide range of applications, capable of meeting the bonding requirements between metals, ceramics, and composite materials (including metal-metal, metal-ceramic, metal-composite, ceramic-ceramic, ceramic-composite, and composite-composite bonding). The packaging can be customized according to customer-specific requirements, using plastic buckets of 0.5L to 10L, which facilitates storage and use.


For storage, it should be noted that the base adhesive and curing agent should be placed in a cool and dry environment, with a shelf life of 1 year. In addition, to ensure operational safety and effectiveness, it is recommended to prepare and apply the adhesive in a well-ventilated environment.
