High-temperature resistant adhesives refer to a type of adhesives that can maintain their original bonding performance when used at temperatures ranging from 200 to 500°C or even higher. These adhesives mainly include silicon-containing (or boron-containing) polymers, high-temperature resistant polymers with aromatic heterocycles, and inorganic adhesives, etc.
PI adhesives are the earliest developed, most widely used, and have the best comprehensive performance among high-temperature resistant structural adhesives. After being cured at 300°C, they exhibit excellent heat resistance and shear strength at 300-400°C. They can be used for a long time at 230°C and can withstand high temperatures of 555°C for a short period. Additionally, they possess advantages such as good low-temperature resistance, solvent resistance, wear resistance, flame retardancy, and an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion.
