Transfer coating: After the adhesive on the release paper is dried in an oven, it is bonded with the laminating material, causing the adhesive to transfer onto the laminating material. It is applicable to double-sided adhesive tapes, single-sided adhesive tapes such as labels, and adhesive tapes with base materials like foams.
Characteristics:
The thickness of the adhesive film is uniform, and the total thickness of the adhesive tape depends on the thickness deviation of the laminating material;
Release is required during the production of finished adhesive tapes or in the process;
When using release paper, the maximum temperature of the oven can be controlled at 120°C.
Direct coating: The adhesive is directly coated on the base material and then wound, also known as winding from the back side. It is suitable for packaging adhesive tapes and re-peelable adhesive tapes.
Characteristics:
The adhesive easily penetrates into the interior of the base material, resulting in good adhesion;
The total thickness of the adhesive tape is consistent. When there is a deviation in the material, the change in the thickness of the adhesive layer is exactly in the opposite direction;
The drying speed and temperature depend on the type of the base material.
