3.Oil resistance
When bonding the key parts of oil pipeline joints and parts soaked in lubricating oil for a long time, extremely high requirements are placed on the adhesives. It not only has to "hold its ground" in a harsh environment full of oil and heavy moisture but also be able to complete the bonding process methodically even in difficult situations where conventional surface treatment cannot be carried out at all, and ensure that a sufficiently reliable bonding strength is finally achieved to guarantee the sealing and stability of the entire system.
4.Water resistance
Generally speaking, polar adhesives are inherently endowed with a strong "hydrophilic gene", which causes the bonding strength of the joint part to decline rapidly as if encountering a "Waterloo" once they are in a humid environment, seriously affecting the durability of the bonding effect.
5.Optical characteristics
The adhesives selected in the bonding process of optical parts, in addition to possessing basic bonding strength to provide stable support for part assembly, must also precisely meet the strict requirements in terms of light transmittance. Usually, the light transmittance must reach more than 90%. Only in this way can it be ensured that the optical parts can still maintain excellent optical performance after assembly without affecting the normal transmission and focusing of light.
6.Other functions
It has to be said that the functional requirements of bonded joints in different fields are as numerous as the stars, unimaginably rich and diverse. Special functional requirements in aspects such as electromagnetic characteristics, sound effect control, and physiological effect adaptation are also common in specific application scenarios. They jointly promote the continuous development of adhesive technology in the direction of refinement and diversification.
