The main characteristics of silicone adhesives are as follows:

Hits: 840 img

I. Excellent temperature resistance
1. Silicone adhesives can maintain stable performance within a wide temperature range. They can still remain flexible and will not become brittle even at low temperatures such as -60 °C or even lower.
2. In high-temperature environments, they can withstand temperatures as high as 200 °C - 300 °C. Under such high temperatures, the chemical structure of silicone adhesives will not be easily damaged and they can still maintain good bonding performance. This enables them to be used for sealing and bonding high-temperature equipment, such as components near the engine of automobiles or the fixing of heating elements in electronic devices.

II. Good weather resistance
1. They have excellent tolerance to ultraviolet rays, ozone, etc. When used outdoors for a long time, for example, as the sealant for building curtain walls, there will still be no obvious aging or cracking phenomena after many years, and they can effectively resist the damage caused by ultraviolet rays in sunlight to the adhesives.
2. They can be used for a long time under different climate conditions, such as humid, dry, high-temperature, and severe cold environments, and can adapt well to climate changes while keeping their physical and chemical properties basically unchanged.

 III. High chemical stability
1. They have resistance to a variety of chemical substances, including acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents. In chemical environments or during chemical cleaning processes in the electronics industry, silicone adhesives can resist the erosion of these chemical substances, thus ensuring the stability of the bonded parts.
2. They are not easy to react chemically with the materials to be bonded, avoiding damage to the bonded materials or bonding failure caused by chemical reactions.

IV. Good elasticity and flexibility
1. After curing, silicone adhesives are elastic. When subjected to external forces, they can deform to a certain extent and can restore to their original state after the forces disappear. This characteristic enables them to effectively buffer stress when subjected to vibration, impact, thermal expansion and contraction, etc., reducing damage to the bonded parts.
2. They have good flexibility and can adapt to materials with different shapes and surfaces, ensuring good bonding on the surfaces of various complex geometries.

V. Excellent insulation performance
1. They are good electrical insulators and can effectively prevent the passage of electric current. In the field of electronics and electrical appliances, this insulation performance can protect electronic components from electrical problems such as short circuits and ensure the safety and normal operation of electronic devices.
2. Their insulation performance can still remain relatively stable under different environmental conditions, such as temperature changes and humidity changes.
